Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and inspire a Process Excellence Team
  • Own and run the end-to-end Process Excellence demand process, from triage and prioritisation to capacity planning and delivery
  • Shape and manage the Finance process landscape, including process architecture, design, documentation, governance and measurement
  • Plan and deliver a clear Process Excellence roadmap
  • Drive cross-functional Finance initiatives that remove pain points, unlock value and support the wider Finance Transformation Strategy
  • Track, report and realise Finance benefits
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with Finance Process Owners and senior stakeholders across the business
  • Champion a digital and continuous improvement mindset
  • Use insight and data from dashboards and reporting to tell the story of progress, risks and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Line management experience, with a track record of leading and delivering through matrix or global teams
  • Hands-on experience delivering end-to-end process improvement, using Lean tools and approaches to drive optimisation, automation and continuous improvement
  • Confident in process documentation and governance, with experience of recognised methodologies and tools such as ARIS or Signavio
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, able to engage and influence people at all levels and across different business areas
  • Comfortable applying delivery governance and structure to keep complex initiatives moving efficiently
  • Curious, inclusive and open-minded, with a genuine passion for developing people and improving how things work
