Job Description

Are you based in Brisbane and working with Power BI? If you have 3+ years of experience in corporate finance, or are looking to make your first move out of professional services, this position offers a direct path into Financial Services. You will move past standard accounting and into a role building business cases, partnering with operational managers, presenting insights, and influencing outcomes for a major operations team. Location: Central Brisbane. Parking included. Work Arrangement: Full-time, 2 days WFH.

Job Responsibility

  • Financial Advisory & Business Cases: Provide financial support for new divisional initiatives by recommending commercial constructs and developing robust business cases and models
  • Reporting & Analysis: Ensure the delivery of financial and managerial reports to internal stakeholders, this specifically includes the production, analysis and actioning of monthly management, operational and Board reporting as required
  • Planning & Reforecasting: Support the planning and reforecasting processes for the division
  • Financial Modelling: Create and update financial models to support ongoing business initiatives
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with Support, Corporate Finance, Group Finance, and Data Analytics teams to ensure objective delivery
  • Process Improvement: Seek and execute improvements to the existing operating rhythm.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner, or similar role
  • Experience in Power BI is essential
  • Experience within planning softwares such as TM1 or Anaplan is highly regarded
  • Proven experience working within businesses undergoing complex change.

Nice to have

Formal qualifications such as CA, CPA, CFA, CIMA etc. advantageous.
