The Finance Paralegal is responsible for helping attorneys in the Corporate, Finance, and Transactions Groups. Under the direction of Finance Transactions and Commercial Lending attorneys, and reporting to the Associate Director of Paralegals, this position supports the delivery of legal services in the areas of commercial finance and lending transactions. The role focuses on assisting attorneys with the preparation of standardized and transaction-specific documents, as well as coordinating and facilitating all aspects of transaction closings.
Job Responsibility
Provides various coordination efforts with respect to the documentation and closing of commercial lending transactions
Creates, composes, and edits written material such as transaction documents, UCC financing statements, correspondence and/or legal documentation
Conducts corporate due diligence, lien searches
analyzes and summarizes results
Ensures all pre-closing preparation, and post-closing follow up is properly completed in a timely manner
Prepares and files Uniform Commercial Code financing statements with the various governmental offices
Enters time and descriptions into InTapp and release daily
