At GitGuardian, the Finance team is a small, high-impact team dedicated to ensuring reliability and facilitating decision-making for the leadership. We act as a growth enabler, building the infrastructure that allows the company to scale globally while ensuring sustainable operations across all departments. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be the "Go-to person" for all cross-departmental projects. In this lean setup, your priority will be to build and execute, providing the operational firepower needed to unblock structural projects and ensure seamless coordination between internal and external finance stakeholders. You will have real ownership and a direct impact on our ability to grow and automate our operations in a scalable way.
Job Responsibility:
Finance Architecture & Tax Readiness: Systems Ownership: Lead the management and optimization of our finance tech stack (Procurement, Billing, ERP). Ensure our processes (Quote-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay) are scalable
RevOps Partnership: Lead the synchronization between Finance and RevOps to ensure the Quote-to-Cash cycle is frictionless and data-consistent across systems
Commissions Management: Own the calculation and validation of sales commissions, ensuring they align with signed contracts and financial revenue recognition rules
E-Invoicing & Compliance: Spearhead the transition to electronic invoicing. You will ensure our systems and data are ready for upcoming regulatory requirements (PDP/PPF)
Tax & KYC Readiness: Own the integrity of our Master Data. You will implement robust KYC processes and ensure our "Tax Readiness" (VAT, US Sales Tax) is integrated into our billing automation to prevent compliance risks
AI-Driven Productivity & Tooling: Automation Roadmap: Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline reporting and compliance
AI Integration: Act as the "Product Owner" for AI initiatives within Finance. You will identify and implement AI use cases to increase productivity (e.g., smart reconciliation, automated reporting)
Financial Culture & Training: The "Go-to" expert: You design and lead finance onboarding sessions for new hires and create clear documentation to help teams (R&D, GTM, etc.) navigate financial processes autonomously
Bridge Builder: Serve as the primary interface between Finance, Engineering, and GTM teams to ensure financial policies are integrated into their daily operations
R&D Partnering & Innovation Funding: To secure and optimize our innovation-related financing
Your Scope: Act as the financial lead for R&D tax credits (CIR/CII). You will bridge the gap between engineering reality and financial compliance, ensuring rigorous tracking and documentation
Group Scalability & Corporate Maturity: To ensure our global structure is robust and ready for international growth
Entity Scaling: Optimize the operational framework of our multi-entity structure (US/FR) to ensure a seamless international expansion
Consolidation Readiness: Streamline financial data across subsidiaries to prepare the groundwork for future group reporting
Sustainability (CSRD): Anticipate ESG requirements by designing efficient data collection processes

Full professional proficiency in French and English
5-10 years of experience in Corporate Finance, acquired in a consulting firm (Finance Transformation, Transaction Services, Audit) and/or in a similar position within a finance department in an international environment
Strong understanding of business needs in a growth environment: you have a solid grasp of Accounting, FP&A, and Finance Operations, and you know how to scale them
Proven track record in delivering complex financial projects (tool implementation, process redesign)
You can distill complex findings into clear, actionable, and executive-ready communication for both technical and non-technical audiences (R&D, GTM, RevOps)
You are a "doer" who knows how to balance urgent operational needs with long-term strategic building
