This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional to join a business experiencing significant growth, where you will play a key role in ensuring operational accuracy, improving processes, and supporting scalable finance operations.
Job Responsibility:
Managing key operational finance processes across billing, payments, reconciliations, and financial administration
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and operational data
Overseeing invoicing processes and resolving any related queries or discrepancies
Supporting payroll administration and expense processing alongside outsourced providers
Managing reconciliations across multiple systems and financial platforms
Working closely with finance, operations, and compliance teams to ensure smooth day-to-day delivery
Owning and improving finance operations processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and controls
Supporting system improvements, automation projects, and process optimisation initiatives
Maintaining robust audit trails and ensuring compliance with internal controls and procedures
Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding finance operations queries
Supporting reporting, KPI tracking, and operational performance improvements
Requirements:
Previous experience within a Finance Operations, Transactional Finance, Billing, Payroll, or Operational Finance role
Strong understanding of financial processes, reconciliations, controls, and operational workflows
Experience managing high-volume workloads in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Confidence in managing queries and resolving issues professionally
Systems experience across finance and operational platforms (ERP or finance systems such as Xero, Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar)
Good Excel capability
Experience within a fast-paced commercial or service-led environment would be highly advantageous

What we offer:
Salary of £40,000 - £50,000
