Finance Operations Lead

• Team Leadership: Build and manage a team of Finance and Payroll professionals, ultimately driving an outcomes focused performance culture
• Operational Oversight: Owning end-to-end processes across Accounts Receivable and Payable and Payroll processes
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve financial operations by utilising new technology and automation solutions
• Process Ownership: Defining and maintaining financial policies to ensure alignment with Internal Financial Controls and external legislation
• Banking & Audit: Managing the TasTAFE core banking systems, corporate credit cards and providing assistance during the annual auditing process

• Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People in Tasmania or the ability to obtain
• CA or CPA status is essential for this role
• Professional Credentials: You are a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA)
• Experience: Proven expertise in a high-volume financial transactional environment and driving continuous improvement
• Leadership: Demonstrated ability in people and performance management in an outcomes focused environment
• Communication: The ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of financial literacy
• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Accounting or Finance
