Job Description:

We are looking for a talented finance professional to join the local CFO & Controller's team in Sofia. The team is responsible for the oversight of finances for the Bulgaria legal entity, and the generation, tracking and submission of financial & regulatory reports. This role is ideal for an individual with a few years of experience in a relevant field and will be mentored by more senior colleagues.

Job Responsibility:

Drive local regulatory reporting oversight for CEP Bulgaria
Coordinate and oversight over all Legal Entity Management (LEM) and accounting processes
Monitor corporate policies governing accounting and its competent application
Implementation of necessary controls to ensure integrity and reliability of data
Maintenance of internal chart of accounts (GL), General Ledger accounts and MIS details
Participate in development and implementation of new business products
Identify and resolve emerging problems using subject-matter knowledge in finance

Requirements:

4+ years of experience related to Finance, Accounting, Audit or in another relevant field
Preferred qualification in Finance/Economics/Accounting
Strong knowledge of accounting standards in theory and in practice
Experience with financial & regulatory reporting processes
Fluency in English - verbal and written
Good knowledge of banking products
Understanding of key concepts in finance, financial reporting, and regulatory policy
Strong Excel skills and hands-on experience with complex spreadsheets
Excellent analytical skills
Strong judgment and decision-making abilities (problem solving)
Proactive attitude
Ability to learn quickly and work successfully both independently and within a team
Strong planning and time management skills
