Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Officer to join our finance team. The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial principles and regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities by analyzing financial data and trends
  • Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budget variances, and provide recommendations for cost reduction and revenue enhancement
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure timely resolution of any discrepancies
  • Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements and audit schedules
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and accounting standards, and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) a plus
  • Proven experience working in finance or accounting, with at least [X] years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization
