Finance Officer position at W Melbourne, part of Marriott International's luxury brands. The role involves financial record keeping, accuracy checking, cash management, and compliance with company policies in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy
  • Organise, secure, and maintain all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents
  • Record, store, access, and/or analyse computerised financial information
  • Classify, code, and summarise numerical and financial data
  • Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports
  • Complete period-end closing procedures and reports
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements
  • Follow-up and resolve past due accounts and vendor invoices
  • Prepare daily consolidated deposits of cash received
  • Document, maintain, communicate, and act upon all Cash Variances
  • Prepare, maintain, and administer all cashier banks and contracts
