Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Temporary to Permanent Finance Officer to join a passionate and supportive team dedicated to making a difference in students' lives. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role within a welcoming educational environment.

Job Responsibility:

Supervising the Finance Assistant and supporting financial operations
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies
Monthly reconciliations and VAT claims
Budget monitoring and reporting
Managing the debtor report and supporting year-end accounts
Overseeing BACS payments, school inventory, and financial returns
Liaising with external agencies and stakeholders

Requirements:

ACCA or AAT qualification would be desirable however the client will consider candidates qualified by experience
Strong understanding of financial procedures and regulations
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Experience in educational finance is desirable but not essential
An enhanced DBS will be required prior to commencing employment
