You'll get involved in everything from high‑volume invoice processing to payroll, Sage admin, office coordination, and even a little HR support. This role is ideal for someone who likes variety and taking ownership.
Job Responsibility:
Handle the full invoice processing cycle - managing up to 200 invoices weekly with accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
Take the lead on all things Sage - entering financial data, raising POs, reconciling accounts, and maintaining clear, tidy records
Prepare and process weekly/monthly payroll - checking hours, rates, and amendments in Excel before completing payroll through Sage Payroll
Keep everything on track - meeting deadlines, spotting errors early, and ensuring every figure is exactly where it should be
Provide HR support with onboarding, maintaining employee files, and assisting with recruitment and training administration
Help with day‑to‑day office operations, including supplies, facilities, and general organisation
Act as a friendly front‑of‑house presence - greeting visitors, answering calls, and handling enquiries
Manage the shared inbox, ensuring prompt and accurate communication
Support the Office Manager with policy updates, health & safety tasks, and stepping in when needed
Requirements:
Sage / Sage Accounts experience is essential
Confident using Microsoft Office including Excel
Solid finance and administrative experience within a busy environment
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
A proactive, positive approach and the ability to work independently
