Job Description

The jobholder will be part of the Finance Master Data team who is responsible for Airbus SAP FI / CO Accounting Systems support. On the S/4 HANA SAP solutions covering General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Tax, Cost accounting, Sales and billing, accounts receivable and payables processes, the jobholder will have the responsibilities to support Airbus worldwide accounting users network, for 80+ legal entities of the Airbus Commercial Aircraft division.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with the Corporate Finance & Accounting stakeholders to identify gaps between future master data structures and existing master data and establish data mapping standards for Finance such as GL Accounts, Profit Center and Cost Center
  • Evaluate data accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and stability to establish repeatable, sustainable processes to update dashboards
  • Work with the Corporate Finance & Accounting stakeholders to map, set up & maintain Finance Master Data Objects during the Corporate Finance Transformation
  • Create and maintain Finance Master Data governance and management process documentation including data cleansing and validation
  • Provide input and support the development of testing and training materials (test plans and scripts) for Finance Data Objects
  • Work with the Corporate Business Unit - Finance & Accounting - and IT Departments to roll out global harmonized master data across new entities
  • Resolve technical and process issues impacting the Finance organization
  • Drive SAP MDG initiatives with a focus on Financial Master Data, ensuring alignment with business goals and data governance standards
  • Coordinate with business and IT teams to define and harmonize master data requirements across departments/divisions
  • Facilitate workshops and documentation to support business readiness and process understanding

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
  • Understanding of Business Processes in the Finance area (R2R, P2P, O2C…)
  • Experience in Master Data or Accounting
  • Knowledge on SAP FI/CO
  • Ability to validate & challenge Finance & Accounting users on the design for Global Master Data Template
  • Strong business acumen and analysis skills
  • Ability to develop and present presentations clearly and effectively
  • Creative problem-solving skills with ability to craft tailored solutions to meet the wide range of business needs across the organization
  • Customer oriented and team spirit
  • Flexibility and capacity to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Strong relationship building skills, internally within IT and with business users
  • Good English communication and presentation skills (speaking and writing)
