We are offering an exciting opportunity in the Healthcare industry at Daytona Beach, Florida, for the role of an Finance Manager. The successful candidate will be tasked with maintaining cost models, performing accounting functions, and conducting profit and loss analysis among other duties.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately maintain cost models for products, services, and operations, encompassing both direct and indirect expenses
Conduct monthly cost accounting functions, including managing database structure, cost allocations, and assumptions
Establish and maintain accurate cost data to facilitate organizational decision-making
Verify and reconcile the source data for all analyses and confirm assumptions with finance management
Lead in-depth profit and loss analysis for various service lines, including but not limited to Surgical Services, Cardiology, and Interventional Radiology
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across departments to gather information, better understand business needs, and communicate findings through analytics
Work closely with various department leaders, including Revenue Cycle and Supply Chain, to help enhance the organization's financial performance
Partner with the CFO, Director of Finance Decision Support, Controller, and department managers to align financial performance with organizational goals
Provide guidance to less-tenured employees on the monthly cost accounting process, answer their questions, and work with them to design and implement process improvements
Perform ad hoc profitability and statistical analysis upon request, and track and monitor the effectiveness of cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements:
Minimum of five years of experience in a Finance role or similar position within Healthcare industry
Proven proficiency in Accounting Functions, including knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting
Demonstrated experience with Annual Budget preparation and administration, as well as familiarity with Budget Processes
Ability to manage Business Unit finances, including planning, forecasting, and financial analysis
Strong understanding of Capital Management, with the ability to make strategic financial decisions based on business needs
Experience with EPSi software for financial management and decision support is preferred
Knowledge of Workday ERP system, with the ability to leverage its functionalities for financial planning and analysis
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required, MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make sound financial decisions
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to anticipate and address financial issues before they escalate.

Experience with EPSi software for financial management and decision support is preferred
MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred
