The RTR Manager – People Manager leads end-to-end Record to Report operations while building and managing a high-performing RTR team. This role is accountable for accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across general ledger, fixed assets, lease accounting, and balance sheet processes, and for driving strong controls, talent development, and continuous improvement.
Job Responsibility:
Own and govern month-end and year-end close activities for RTR-owned areas, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and applicable local GAAPs
Review and approve balance sheet reconciliations and balance sheet reviews, ensuring risks are identified and issues are resolved timely
Oversee fixed assets and lease accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, impairments, disposals and physical counts
Act as the accountable owner for RTR internal controls, audit coordination, and remediation of audit findings
Lead, coach, and develop RTR accountants, setting clear expectations, driving performance, and building succession for critical roles
Drive process standardization, automation, and finance transformation initiatives in partnership with IT and cross-functional teams
Partner with Corporate Accounting, Tax, and business stakeholders to support enterprise initiatives and ensure alignment on financial impacts
Prepare and present management updates, dashboards, and executive-level materials
Requirements:
6 years of relevant experience in RTR, general ledger, and fixed assets operations, with progressive leadership responsibility
Demonstrated people-management experience, including performance management and talent development
Strong knowledge of US GAAP
exposure to local GAAP and statutory reporting is a plus
Hands-on experience with SAP and reconciliation tools (e.g., Blackline)
Experience driving automation, process improvement, or finance transformation initiatives preferred
Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or equivalent
ACCA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
Nice to have:
Exposure to local GAAP and statutory reporting is a plus
