Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Framingham, Massachusetts. This role is pivotal in managing financial planning and analysis, ensuring accurate reporting, and driving strategic insights that support business growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in FP&A and proficiency in Adaptive Planning and Excel.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee month-end close processes and ensure timely reporting of financial results
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights
  • Prepare comprehensive management reports, including commentary to support decision-making
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance financial dashboards for internal use
  • Collaborate with teams to improve forecasting and financial modeling efforts
  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial analysis and recommendations
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting across departments
  • Utilize Adaptive Planning to streamline budgeting and planning processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial management

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
  • Proficiency in Adaptive Planning software is strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to build complex models and analyze large datasets
  • Strong understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting
  • Experience in financial modeling and forecasting
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
