Altitude Marketing is seeking a full-time Director/Manager of Finance & Business Operations to own the financial and back-office functions of our growing B2B marketing agency. If you have a sharp financial mind, a bias toward action, and thrive in a hands-on role where you’ll make a real difference—this job is for you.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the financial and back-office functions
  • manage the bookkeeper
  • oversee day-to-day accounting, AR/AP, bookkeeping
  • own QuickBooks Online setup, maintenance, operation, reporting, workflows, management
  • own month-end, quarter-end, year-end close process
  • produce monthly financial reporting and management dashboards
  • coordinate with external accountants
  • monitor cash flow
  • ensure financial compliance and maintain strong internal controls
  • respond to ad hoc financial requests from CEO and leadership team
  • own annual budget planning cycle
  • own revenue forecasting and budget-to-actuals tracking
  • interpret numbers and identify variance drivers
  • support 1-year and 3-year financial planning sessions
  • proactively identify trends, inefficiencies, opportunities
  • manage expense discipline
  • own client and project profitability analysis and reporting
  • lead project profitability post-mortems
  • collaborate on pricing strategy
  • oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, HR compliance
  • provide guidance on HR/payroll issues
  • oversee hiring, onboarding, offboarding
  • coordinate performance review and compensation management cycle
  • direct office manager on priorities and vendor relationships
  • manage landlord relationship and lease needs
  • own contractual and financial relationship with outsourced IT support provider
  • partner with tech leads on budgeting for technology needs, software subscriptions, infrastructure costs

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of relevant finance and operations experience
