This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who understands the nuances of the SaaS business model, software project costing, and the fast-paced nature of the tech world. Reporting directly to the Senior Management, you will act as a strategic business partner, ensuring the financial health of the company. You will look beyond the numbers to provide insights on project profitability, revenue recognition, and operational efficiency. You will lead a dedicated finance team and collaborate closely with Sales, IT, and Procurement to drive business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee revenue recognition for complex revenue streams, including software licenses, SaaS subscriptions, and professional services fees
Track and analyze project costing, margins, and profitability for IT/software development projects to ensure optimal financial performance
Review commercial contracts to ensure favorable financial terms, including payment milestones, credit terms, and tax implications
Spearhead the annual budgeting process and manage periodic forecasts and financial projections
Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance, providing actionable business insights and recommendations to the C-suite for strategic decision-making
Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with MFRS/IFRS and regulatory requirements
Manage cash flow, working capital, and implement strict expense control measures
Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements
Ensure timely submission of Corporate Tax, SST, and other statutory filings, liaising effectively with auditors and tax agents
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team (executives and accountants) to ensure high performance and career progression
Requirements:
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial capacity
Strong understanding of SaaS, IT Software, or iGaming business models is advantageous
Experience in software project costing and revenue recognition is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are a distinct advantage
Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders (Sales, IT, HR)
Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
