Job Description:

The candidate will be responsible for leading the Bank Finance team, ensuring the overall accuracy and integrity of accounting records, financial analyses, and regulatory reporting. The candidate will also oversee the monitoring and reporting of ongoing performance and deliver high-quality information to both local and central management in order to promote transparency and to support informed decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the Bank’s Finance, Treasury, Tax, Regulatory Reporting, and Internal Control functions
Serve as a key business partner on all Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Control matters
Lead the month-end close, forecast, budget, and business plan processes
Lead pricing strategy in collaboration with the central pricing team
Support management decision-making by providing timely financial analysis and data
Manage all treasury activities, including funding plans, liquidity and capital management, and debt issuance
Act as the Bank’s primary management contact for the independent Internal Audit team
Collaborate with local and central Internal Control, Compliance, and Risk functions

Requirements:

Prior extensive experience in the Italian Banking/Fsi industry
In-depth knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements
Solid background in financial planning, Italian accounting, treasury, and regulatory reporting matters
Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong leadership skills with a proactive approach
Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail
Focus on problem-solving and strategic thinking

Nice to have:

Previous experience with finance systems such as Anaplan and SAP
