As a Finance Manager on our Planning team, you will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Board of Directors (BOD) reporting lead to directly support CFO deliverables needed for strategic decision making and internal and external guidance. You will have first-hand experience at the heart of a world class CFO organization with an active role in quarterly close, forecast and BOD processes. This role is structured to have components of the traditional rhythm-of-business close as well as ad-hoc projects and analysis based on both business need and the finance manager's interests. Your responsibilities will include slideware preparation, compilation of reporting slideware from multiple contributing teams company-wide, content management, data alignment and audit, note taking in review sessions, management of follow up actions and ad hoc analysis. The role will have visibility and provide support to all of the CFT FP&A processes that assemble and manage the consolidation of Microsoft's financial results and forecast at quarter end.
Job Responsibility
Manage change and drive opportunities for efficiency and automation across CFO financial rhythms
Synthesize consolidated reports and analysis to facilitate business decisions with executive leadership
Deliver high quality CFO materials while applying judgment and managing multiple deliverables to create clarity in fast paced and time bound rhythms
Enable the adoption of AI capabilities by closely engaging in training initiatives and applying to day-to-day responsibilities
Support the transition to S4 SAP systems
Requirements
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field
OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field
OR equivalent experience
Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 3+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience
OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 5+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance work experience
OR equivalent experience
