We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee our organization's financial operations and provide expert guidance on client account management. In this role, you will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and foster strong internal controls. This position also involves supervising and mentoring the accounting team while partnering with leadership to drive effective budgeting, cash flow management, and strategic decision-making.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal policies
Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff, supporting their growth and ensuring accountability
Process semi-monthly payroll and oversee the accurate and timely filing of payroll tax payments and reports
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries
Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly to maintain the integrity of financial records
Collaborate with leadership to develop annual budgets and monitor cash flow projections
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations, including tax obligations and filings
Oversee vendor payment processing, cash receipts, and credit card reconciliations using systems like QuickBooks and Bill.com
Manage and maintain company insurance policies, securing updated bids as necessary
Provide financial analysis to support sound business decisions and operational planning
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounting and financial management, including month-end close and general ledger oversight
Strong knowledge of payroll processing, payroll tax filings, and compliance requirements
Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries
Familiarity with managing accounts payable and maintaining accurate financial records
Expertise in using accounting software such as QuickBooks and related tools
Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor staff
Solid understanding of tax regulations and compliance standards
Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data and trends effectively
