The Opportunity This is a key commercial and operational role within KT Healthcare, responsible for overseeing end-to-end finance operations and supporting the organisation's continued growth and strategic development. As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of core financial processes including management accounting, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and cash flow management. You will play an important role in ensuring financial controls are robust, processes are efficient, and financial information supports effective business decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to process improvements, support strategic planning and provide financial insight that helps drive the organisation forward. Job Responsibility
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and related accounting entries
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records
Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register
Lead the analysis of monthly financial performance, identifying trends, risks and opportunities
Support accurate financial reporting and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes across the organisation
Produce weekly cash flow forecasts and support working capital management
Provide financial analysis and insight to support business decisions
Monitor financial performance against budgets and investigate variances
Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices and controls
Continually identify financial and operational risks and implement practical solutions
Act as the first point of contact for external auditors
Ensure compliance with statutory and HMRC requirements
Take responsibility for payroll activities in conjunction with HR and relevant HMRC processes
Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices
Support effective management of day-to-day financial operations
Manage and support junior members of the finance team
Build strong relationships across departments and with external stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve processes and increase operational efficiency
Support ad-hoc finance projects and wider business initiatives as required
Requirements
Qualified or part-qualified ACCA or CIMA
Proven experience working in a Finance Manager position
Strong experience preparing management accounts and financial reporting
Experience with budgeting, forecasting and balance sheet reconciliations
Nice to have
Experience using Xero accounting software
Experience working within a private healthcare environment
Experience managing or mentoring junior team members
