Finance Manager

• Strategic Financial Leadership: Oversee the financial accounting, distribution, and tax reporting for the funds platform, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and investment management agreements
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including annual financial statements, regulatory reports, and tax filings. Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making
• Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with Fund Managers, Investment Managers, Valuations team, Tax team, and other key stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support
• Process Optimisation: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the Funds Finance team
• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
• Audit & Compliance: Oversee audit processes and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to the development and execution of finance projects and initiatives to support the overall strategic objectives of the business
• Offshore Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the offshore team to achieve seamless operations

• At least 5 years experience in fund accounting or financial services with a strong understanding of investment management operations
• Proven leadership experience in managing finance teams
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, tax regulations, and investment management accounting principles
• Ability to analyse complex financial information, identify issues, and make sound decisions
• Possess a bachelor's degree or above in accounting/finance or a related field
• Possess a CA/CPA qualification (or similar)
• Strong communication, leadership, project management, and multitasking skills
