Finance Manager

• Develop and implement long- and short-term financial plans aligned with business goals
• Prepare, monitor, and control budgets and financial forecasts
• Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve performance
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and other statutory requirements (FIRS, LIRS, etc.)
• Coordinate and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external consultants
• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including reconciliations, payroll, and cash flow management
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and effective internal control systems
• Supervise and develop finance team members to maintain professional standards
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making
• Support cost management, business expansion, and investment decisions
• Identify and mitigate financial risks while improving profitability
• Manage liquidity and working capital to ensure adequate cash flow for operations
• Oversee investment portfolios and evaluate potential financial opportunities
• Optimize fund utilization and ensure prudent financial management

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline
• Minimum of 8 years experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role
• ICAN certification (mandatory)
• Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards
• Strong analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills
• Proficiency in accounting and financial management software (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, Tally ERP, etc.)
• Leadership and team management ability
• Exceptional attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving capability
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools

Additional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, or CPA are an added advantage
