The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the company's finance operations efficiently. The role ensures that financial and management reporting is accurate and timely, adhering to Malaysian accounting standards, company policies, the Companies Act, tax regulations, and Bursa Malaysia requirements.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare financial statements, board papers, and management reports in compliance with MFRS and Bursa Malaysia guidelines
Oversee day-to-day finance functions including AP, AR, GL, Costing, Fixed Assets, Credit Control, and Treasury
Lead the Annual Budget Review (ABR), mid-year projections, and evaluate capital investments (CAPEX) for cost savings and returns
Coordinate internal and external audit processes while managing tax filing, transfer pricing, and SST reporting
Advise production and commercial teams on cost-effectiveness and manage trade working capital efficiency
Supervise four Finance Executives, performing performance evaluations and identifying gaps for staff development
Requirements:
Minimum of a Degree in Accounting
Professional accounting membership such as ACCA, CIMA, or MIA
At least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity with specific credibility in manufacturing and operational accounting
Strong knowledge of SAP (mainly COPA), MFRS standards, and Malaysian taxation/SST
Proficient in English communication, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to work under pressure with tight deadlines
