We are looking for a skilled Finance Manager to oversee and enhance financial operations for a major project in Bellevue, Washington. This role involves managing budgeting, accounting, and reporting processes while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of financial systems and practices.
Job Responsibility:
Manage all financial and accounting tasks for the project, including budgeting, cost analysis, and reporting
Develop technical accounting memos and provide guidance on procurement and construction expenditures
Prepare detailed monthly cost analysis reports and present findings to relevant stakeholders
Review draft contracts and offer financial insights to ensure compliance and accuracy
Identify potential financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them
Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Generate monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate reporting
Improve and streamline accounting procedures and internal controls for greater operational efficiency
Handle general accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets
Establish and document cost allocation processes across multiple entities and projects
Requirements:
Proven experience in financial modeling and analysis
Strong knowledge of annual budget preparation and variance analysis
Expertise in managing budget processes and delivering accurate financial reports
Proficiency in developing and implementing cost accounting systems
Familiarity with indirect cost allocation and consolidation
Ability to conduct financial profitability assessments and audits
Experience in supporting year-end close, audits, tax packages, and budget planning
Solid understanding of accounting systems and internal control improvements
