Reporting to senior leadership, you will take responsibility for the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting, and effective commercial support across multiple projects.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
Manage and review sub-ledger accounts, particularly in relation to contract accounting
Prepare accounts and financial reports
Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow forecasting
Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with contract terms
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Finance Manager (or similar senior finance role) within the construction / contracting industry
Working knowledge of accounting software
Experience managing sub-ledgers and contract accounting (preferred)
Understanding of cost control, WIP reporting, and project-based accounting
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Confident communicator, able to work closely with operational teams
Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) preferred but not essential
