We are seeking a dynamic Finance Manager to lead the full-cycle financial and accounting functions of a factory. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of budget management, tax compliance, and financial risk management while embedding robust cost controls across all business processes. Job Responsibility
Manage the General Ledger (GL), cost accounting, and monthly closing processes to guarantee 100% data accuracy
Establish, optimize, and maintain financial systems and internal controls in strict alignment with both Group and New Zealand legal standards
Ensure full compliance with New Zealand tax laws (IRD), meticulously manage cash flow, and oversee bank reconciliations
Lead the annual budgeting process and provide insightful variance analysis to empower executive decision-making
Partner closely with our production and sales teams to drive meaningful cost reduction and continuously optimize our cost control framework
Manage and nurture relationships with external auditors (Deloitte), banking partners (including BOC, ICBC, Citi, HSBC), and local authorities
Champion the implementation of financial IT tools (such as SAP or U9) to automate workflows and eliminate operational redundancies
Requirements
5–7+ years of progressive finance experience, including a minimum of 2 years of local New Zealand experience
Essential background in large-scale manufacturing (experience in FMCG, Food, or Dairy is highly preferred)
A proven specialist in Cost Modules with a strong track record in cost accounting and driving cost reduction initiatives
Proficiency in Express, U9, or SAP. Direct experience leading system implementations is highly valued
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, paired with relevant professional accounting qualifications
Fluency in both Mandarin and English is desirable
however, local English speakers with no Mandarin skills are also highly encouraged to apply
