Finance Manager

• Direct day-to-day accounting activities for multiple affiliated entities, ensuring records are accurate, complete, and aligned with reporting deadlines
• Lead monthly and annual close cycles, including account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset tracking
• Produce entity-level and consolidated financial statements, along with supporting analysis for management review and decision-making
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting for production, stored materials, finished goods, and allocation of manufacturing-related expenses
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, monitor collections, coordinate vendor disbursements, and maintain cash visibilit
• Support compliance and finance-related administrative processes, including payroll coordination and use of banking or regulatory reporting platforms
• Partner with ownership and key stakeholders to improve financial processes, organize reporting workflows, and strengthen operational controls
• Maintain continuity of finance operations by documenting procedures, supporting knowledge transfer, and helping stabilize existing accounting practices during team transition

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within winery, manufacturing, agricultural, or other production-based environments
• Strong background in month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and multi-entity accounting
• Proven experience with inventory valuation and cost accounting in a manufacturing or production setting
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and take ownership in a lean, entrepreneurial organization
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks Enterprise or similar financial systems
• Solid understanding of cash management, payables, receivables, and operational finance processes
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with leadership and diverse stakeholder groups
