Job Description

Interim Finance Manager to lead a small, dedicated team supporting Adult Services for a London based Council. This is a key role ensuring strong financial management in a service that makes a real difference to the community.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and manage a small team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support
  • Deliver high-quality financial advice, planning, and analysis to service managers across Adult Services
  • Support the Head of Finance with overseeing budget setting, monitoring, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing clear, evidence-based financial insight
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, financial regulations, and best practice
  • Drive improvements in financial processes and systems to support efficiency and service outcomes
