The Finance Manager serves as the senior financial leader for the Turf business, providing end‑to‑end financial leadership while acting as a trusted partner to operational and divisional leaders. This role blends strategic insight with hands‑on execution, owning financial planning, reporting, costing, and core accounting operations to drive strong business performance. As a key member of the leadership team, the Finance Manager influences decision‑making, develops talent, and continuously improves finance processes and systems to support growth, profitability, and operational excellence.
Job Responsibility
Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, fostering accountability, strong controls, and professional growth
Serve as the primary financial partner to functional leaders, providing insights to support strategic and operational decisions
Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal control standards
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A processes across revenue, manufacturing costs, and SG&A
Analyze sales performance, pricing, mix, volume, and margins to drive actionable business insights
Manage product and project costing, partnering with operations to improve data accuracy and decision-making
Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Sales & Use Tax processes
Support productivity initiatives, capital ROI evaluations, and cost-reduction efforts
Drive continuous improvement in finance systems, reporting, and process automation
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including manufacturing accounting
7+ years of ERP systems experience
Prior people management or supervisory experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial systems
Strong forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling experience
Nice to have
Prior experience as a plant controller in a manufacturing environment
Experience with NetSuite, SAP, BW, OneStream, or similar ERP systems
CPA or MBA credentials
Track record of driving process improvements, automation, and scalable finance solutions
Ability to operate seamlessly between office and plant environments
