Job Responsibility

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS and Local GAAP) for revenue recognition
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Analyse revenue trends and variances, providing insights to management for strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with the finance team and with business stakeholders to ensure accurate financial statements and disclosures related to revenue
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the revenue accounting function and implement best practices
  • Act as a liaison between the accounting department and other stakeholders to address revenue-related inquiries
  • Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to revenue transactions
  • Lead and mentor other members of the revenue accounting team, providing guidance and support in their professional development
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Drive a culture of compliance and risk control to mitigate financial, operational and reputational risks

Requirements

  • 5+ years of combined experience obtained in the fields of audit, accounting and financial reporting gained within the Big4 and Multinational Organisations
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP
  • Proven track record of leading finance process improvements/transformations, working cross-functionally with senior leaders and teams
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders, finance stakeholders and technical teams
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-growing and dynamic environment, especially in industries that are undergoing rapid digit transformation

Nice to have

  • An accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
