Our team is dedicated to maintaining high standards of service and excellence in every project we undertake. We are seeking a Finance Manager/Management Accountant (Part-Qualified) to join our Team. This role plays a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting strategic decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple countries to drive financial performance and operational efficiency. This is a full-time role; however, we would love to hear from you if you are an excellent candidate who can only do part-time.
Job Responsibility
Own the end-to-end bookkeeping of several entities within the Group, including new ones
Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts, including preparing the Accounts Package for Group Consolidated accounts
Review accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and completeness
Monthly/quarterly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, bank and inter-company accounts, prepayment, accruals and other control accounts as well as processing general ledger journals
Responsible for VAT submissions
Ensure compliance with local tax laws, statutory requirements, and internal controls
Support audits and liaise with external auditors and tax advisors
Supporting the Finance Team with ad hoc projects such as CIS Reconciliation to allow automated submission to go live, Champion of E-invoicing for all group entities
Represent the business, upholding our core values and behaviours with all internal and external customers, clients and third parties
Maintain business and client confidentiality, adhering to applicable Data Protection regulations and Information Security Standards in line with company and group policies and procedures
Requirements
Part-qualified accountant (AAT, ACCA, ACA, QBE, or equivalent)
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
Proven experience working with European entities
Experience with VAT Return and Trial Balance preparation
Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS)
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and ideally Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
