We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager III to join our team in Northwest Arkansas. In this role, you will support the site General Manager and play a pivotal role in achieving the facility’s financial goals. Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts in collaboration with the Plant General Manager, ensuring high accuracy
Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and plant initiatives to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making
Partner with commercial business leaders to validate revenue expectations and challenge assumptions where necessary
Oversee internal controls, ensuring compliance with company policies and safeguarding site assets
Conduct profitability analyses to identify margin erosion and facilitate strategies to enhance operational and financial performance
Lead month-end closing activities, including reviewing journal entries, job costing, and reconciling inventory balances
Monitor and optimize working capital and cash flow to support business objectives
Collaborate on long-range capital planning and conduct benchmarking against similar facilities to identify improvement opportunities
Prepare and deliver detailed plant visit presentations and ad hoc financial reports as required
Simplify financial reporting processes and communicate results effectively to stakeholders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with strong preference for candidates with a background in manufacturing or the pulp and paper industry
At least 5 years of experience in a related field, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including tested and validated expertise
Proven ability to manage internal controls and ensure compliance with organizational policies
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Ability to conduct profitability analysis and deliver actionable insights to improve financial outcomes
Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial reporting processes
Nice to have:
Experience working with financial tools such as Hyperion SmartView and QlikCloud is a plus
