The Finance Manager will support the objectives of the accounting department while assisting operating departments with forecasting, budget, labor and inventory controls, analysis, auditing as well as operational responsibilities for the units you are supporting.
Job Responsibility:
Partner with Operations and other leaders to identify financial risks and opportunities, make recommendations, and drive positive financial outcomes
Manage Daily and Weekly Reporting, Month-End Close, Forecast, and Annual Operating Plan for assigned locations
Manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash and Banking, and Daily Sales Reporting for assigned locations
Manage Capital Expenditure Plan and Spend for assigned locations
Design and maintain ad-hoc financial reports and analysis to support the business
Manage a team of Finance direct reports, including hiring, coaching, and career development
Accommodate internal and external auditors
Ensure proper accounting internal controls to support SOX compliance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, business or a related field
3 – 5 years of relevant experience, including experience managing direct reports
Strong working knowledge of Excel, and comfort in learning new accounting and finance systems
High level of comfort with change in a fast-paced environment
Desire and drive to strategically partner with non-finance team members and drive financial results
