Job Description:

We are looking for a Finance Manager - Gross-to-net to join a pharmaceutical organization in Somerset, New Jersey. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for a finance specialist with deep experience in revenue accounting, gross-to-net analysis, and month-end close within branded or generic pharmaceuticals. The role will partner closely with commercial, marketing, contracting, FP&A, and government pricing teams to strengthen financial accuracy, support compliance, and provide meaningful business insights.

Job Responsibility:

  • Administer gross-to-net accrual activities within revenue management processes, ensuring timely maintenance of rates, assumptions, and related records
  • Prepare and post monthly wholesaler and pricing-related accruals while tracking changes in rebate terms, price protection, and other commercial programs
  • Calculate daily net sales, analyze actual-versus-forecast results, and highlight key drivers affecting revenue performance
  • Lead month-end close support for revenue-related accounts, including sales reporting, trial balance review, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Investigate and resolve billing, chargeback, and shipped-versus-billed discrepancies to improve accuracy across revenue operations
  • Partner with sales, marketing, and contracts teams to oversee direct and indirect agreement compliance, customer onboarding reviews, and financial risk considerations
  • Support new product launch planning by developing accrual assumptions and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders on expected commercial impact
  • Manage reconciliations and reporting for rebates, government program support, and acquisition or divestiture-related product activity
  • Contribute to automation and analytics initiatives by using reporting tools and data analysis to improve visibility, efficiency, and working capital performance
  • Present revenue and working capital trends to management, explaining budget variances, operational risks, and progress against financial targets

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • At least 5 years of gross-to-net experience in the branded or generic pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. pharmaceutical revenue flows, accrual accounting, and customer agreement analysis
  • Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and revenue-focused account review
  • Advanced analytical ability with sound judgment and a track record of solving complex financial issues
  • Proven success working across cross-functional teams and communicating clearly with business partners and leadership
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid experience with SAP and other financial systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
