To independently manage the full finance and accounting function of the company and its partnerships, ensuring accurate financial reporting and transactional accounting. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports for multiple affiliates. Accomplishes tasks with particular emphasis on internal service quality and seeks to add value for management through strong financial support.
Job Responsibility:
Fully responsible for all critical accounting functions within the department, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance
Independently develops and maintains efficient accounting workflows and controls
Monitors compliance with Moroccan accounting standards (CGNC), IFRS where applicable, and company procedures
Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports
Assures compliance with Moroccan commercial law, tax law, labor-related financial regulations, and corporate policies
Manages all accounts payable activities and monthly payment cycles
Determines proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated authority limits
Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers, and business transaction records
Responsible for preparing and distributing financial statements and cost center reports
Prepares work papers and supporting schedules for annual financial reviews and audits
Prepares and distributes monthly comparison reports and cost center reports according to schedules
Prepares financial statements and management reports to summarize and interpret current and projected financial position
Analyzes transactional processes and identifies areas where accuracy and efficiency can be improved
Maintains and monitors the fixed assets system
Ensures all internal and external deadlines are met
Applies cost accounting methods to ensure accurate representation of cost center performance
Assists with annual budgets and prepares all allocations
Coordinates monthly closing process and full reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Fully responsible for all tax obligations and statutory filings including VAT, IGR, IS, CNSS, AMO, and other local requirements
Supports the Company’s mission, vision, values, and goals in daily financial operations
Develops and implements accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
Prepares monthly statutory accounts under Moroccan accounting standards (CGNC) and consolidated financial statements under IFRS where applicable
Works directly with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits
Maintains the system of accounts and complete records of all company transactions and assets
Reports, analyzes, and ensures the integrity and reliability of all financial information
Requirements:
Minimum 5–10 years of accounting experience, including senior or standalone roles in Morocco
Strong knowledge of Moroccan tax law, CNSS, AMO, IGR, VAT, and statutory reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or Moroccan CPA/Expert-Comptable track) preferred
Proven ability to manage the full accounting cycle independently
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet strict statutory and audit deadlines
