Job Description

Cash is a fundamental metric in the performance of the business, so is key to both internal and external stakeholders. It plays a big role in determining the reaction of external analysts to our published results which in turn impacts the share price. Predictable cash growth allows investment across both our mobile and fixed networks as well as maintaining a strong dividend to our shareholders.

Job Responsibility

  • Delivering key cash targets by managing cash performance and driving finance initiatives
  • Owning the end‑to‑end process for BoE and Securitisation
  • Identifying new cash initiatives to support sustainable and predictable cash growth
  • Supporting month‑end processes
  • Providing support to the wider cash team
  • Championing continuous improvement
  • Managing key stakeholders including external banks, third‑party providers, and Group Treasury

Requirements

  • Professional accountancy qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with evidence of ongoing development
  • Proven ability to influence and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly
  • Bold, confident thinking with the willingness to challenge the status quo
  • Strong change‑delivery skills
  • Broad finance knowledge and experience
  • High level of professionalism
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft tools
