This is an existing broad, end-to-end finance role sitting at the heart of our Canada operation. You'll own the full Canada P&L, keep our statutory and tax house in order, and be a trusted financial partner to the Country Director and Leadership Team as they plan, campaign, and grow.
Job Responsibility:
Owning the Canada P&L end-to-end, including monthly reporting, variance analysis and KPI tracking
Managing the full budgeting and forecasting cycle in close partnership with functional leads
Handling all statutory, tax and compliance obligations (T3010s, T4s, GST, regulatory audits and more)
Supporting the Country Director and Senior Leadership Team with financial modelling and strategic analysis
Overseeing the full partnerships accounting process, from contracts and invoicing through to receipting
Keeping internal controls tight and flagging risks before they become problems
Providing day-to-day finance support to the Canada team across expense tools, Concur, and campaign queries
Working with HQ and the Head of FP&A on reconciliation and reporting across global time zones
Requirements:
CPA designation with at least 5+ years’ relevant experience in similar roles
Must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Flexibility to work with a global team across multiple time zones
Flexibility to handle last minute issues and projects that are not always within official scope of work
Extremely proficient using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Superior attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Must know and live by Movember’s Values as well as possess a strong work ethic, working collaboratively with team spirit
Have a positive, can-do approach to finding and implementing creative solutions
Nice to have:
Working knowledge of NetSuite, Concur and/or Board
Written and spoken French fluency is a bonus
