Job Description:

This is an existing broad, end-to-end finance role sitting at the heart of our Canada operation. You'll own the full Canada P&L, keep our statutory and tax house in order, and be a trusted financial partner to the Country Director and Leadership Team as they plan, campaign, and grow.

Job Responsibility:

  • Owning the Canada P&L end-to-end, including monthly reporting, variance analysis and KPI tracking
  • Managing the full budgeting and forecasting cycle in close partnership with functional leads
  • Handling all statutory, tax and compliance obligations (T3010s, T4s, GST, regulatory audits and more)
  • Supporting the Country Director and Senior Leadership Team with financial modelling and strategic analysis
  • Overseeing the full partnerships accounting process, from contracts and invoicing through to receipting
  • Keeping internal controls tight and flagging risks before they become problems
  • Providing day-to-day finance support to the Canada team across expense tools, Concur, and campaign queries
  • Working with HQ and the Head of FP&A on reconciliation and reporting across global time zones

Requirements:

  • CPA designation with at least 5+ years’ relevant experience in similar roles
  • Must have strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Flexibility to work with a global team across multiple time zones
  • Flexibility to handle last minute issues and projects that are not always within official scope of work
  • Extremely proficient using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Superior attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Must know and live by Movember’s Values as well as possess a strong work ethic, working collaboratively with team spirit
  • Have a positive, can-do approach to finding and implementing creative solutions
