Job Responsibility
Take charge of preparing and leading discussions with business leads for weekly P&L reforecasts
Review weekly cashflow forecasts to ensure optimal liquidity and financial planning
Support the Finance Manager in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
Manage the monthly General Ledger (GL) closing process, ensuring all month-end journals are accurately posted
Prepare closing reports for the Global team, comprehensive financial statements, and all supporting schedules
Take ownership of reconciling inter-company mismatches and performing detailed variance analysis
Lead statutory audits by liaising directly with the company’s external auditors. Prepare all necessary financial statements, accounting working papers, and accounts analysis
Ensure the accurate and timely filing of all statutory and tax submissions
Manage quarterly GST submissions and ensure strict compliance with GST and Withholding Tax (WHT) regulations
Standardize accounting procedures and oversee best practices within the company to enhance overall efficiency
Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as required
Requirements
5 years of accounting experience
A Degree in Accounting or Finance
A Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CPA, MIA, or equivalent) is highly preferred
Strong understanding of GST and WHT implications
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and PowerPoint
Experience with Xero accounting software is a distinct advantage
A proactive self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
Proven ability to multitask, manage cross-departmental/cross-country stakeholders, and deliver under tight deadlines
A strong team player with an exceptionally positive working attitude and excellent communication skills
