Job Description

As a Finance Manager on the Long-Range Planning (LRP) team, you will play a critical role in shaping T-Mobile's financial strategy by supporting enterprise-wide financial targets under both US GAAP and IFRS. You will build and own comprehensive financial models, deliver actionable insights, and develop executive-level materials that guide decision-making for the Company's long-range plan. This role plays a central role in complex, high-impact initiatives, partnering across FP&A, Accounting, Deutsche Telekom, and other teams to translate business drivers into meaningful financial outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Own and maintain the enterprise-wide financial model supporting T-Mobile's Long-Range Plan and short- and long-term forecasts
  • Drive deep-dive financial analysis to identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities impacting overall company performance
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Corporate Strategy, Accounting, Deutsche Telekom, and other stakeholders to align forecasts and evaluate performance relative to plan
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations for Senior Leadership and Deutsche Telekom
  • Analyze complex business scenarios and initiatives (e.g., broadband growth, acquisitions, new business opportunities) and translate them into financial implications
  • Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and enhanced reporting solutions, to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on key enterprise initiatives and their financial impacts

Requirements

  • Strong financial acumen with deep knowledge of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) under US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
  • 7+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with demonstrated expertise in forecasting, budgeting, or long-range planning
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to identify root causes of data issues and implement solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence across teams and functions
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (experience with data visualization tools is a plus)
  • Wireless or telecommunications industry experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
