Working alongside the Operations and Finance Directors, this is a key role that intersects Finance, Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain. This is a commercial, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will be responsible for driving cost transparency, efficiency, and control across end-to-end supply chain — from raw materials and production yields through to logistics and fulfilment.
Job Responsibility:
Own COGS and Product Costing
Manage and improve COGS reporting
Track raw materials, labour, waste and freight costs
Build and maintain product costing models
Support pricing and margin decisions
Partner with Operations
Lead weekly performance reviews
Analyse production efficiency, yields and waste
Develop clear KPI reporting
Identify cost-saving and improvement opportunities
Support Planning & Inventory
Embed finance into the S&OP process
Improve inventory management and working capital
Support supplier negotiations and cost modelling
Controls & Reporting
Ensure accurate inventory valuation and month-end reporting
Strengthen cost controls across stock and production
Contribute to monthly finance packs
Requirements:
ACA / ACCA / CIMA fully qualified
Experience in either FMCG, manufacturing or retail
Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
Commercial mindset
Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders
