Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a healthcare organisation for an experienced Finance Manager to support the IT & Digital team in delivering a wide-ranging programme of service improvements. A key element of this programme includes the implementation of an Electronic Patient Records (EPR) system.

Job Responsibility:

Provide high-quality financial advice and support to the IT & Digital programme team
Ensure all project components remain within agreed financial limits and progress in line with financial plans
Produce timely and accurate financial reports and forecasts
Classify project expenditure as capital or revenue in accordance with accounting standards

Requirements:

Qualified accountant (or equivalent)
Significant experience in supporting IT and digital programmes from a finance perspective
Experience ideally gained in a hospital or NHS Trust setting
Experience in a senior Management Accounting or Finance Manager role
Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
Confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders
Strong communication skills
