Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within a healthcare organisation for an experienced Finance Manager to support the IT & Digital team in delivering a wide-ranging programme of service improvements. A key element of this programme includes the implementation of an Electronic Patient Records (EPR) system.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide high-quality financial advice and support to the IT & Digital programme team
  • Ensure all project components remain within agreed financial limits and progress in line with financial plans
  • Produce timely and accurate financial reports and forecasts
  • Classify project expenditure as capital or revenue in accordance with accounting standards

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in supporting IT and digital programmes from a finance perspective
  • Experience ideally gained in a hospital or NHS Trust setting
  • Experience in a senior Management Accounting or Finance Manager role
  • Ability to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence in dealing with senior stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills
