Clarendon Homes, part of the Campbell Property Group (CPG) — one of Australia’s leading residential construction and property development companies — is seeking an experienced Finance Liaison / Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team at Norwest. In this role, you’ll support customers through the financial aspects of their home building journey, acting as a key connection between customers, lenders, brokers and internal teams. You’ll also manage accounts receivable processes to ensure payments and progress claims are handled accurately and efficiently. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused team within a trusted home building brand.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engage with customers to understand their financial position and discuss funding requirements for their home build
  • Provide guidance on construction loans, including progress payment structures and lender requirements
  • Liaise with lenders and mortgage brokers to support customers through finance approval and construction loan processes
  • Work closely with pre-construction teams to ensure finance arrangements align with contract and construction timelines
  • Assist with monitoring finance approvals and identifying potential delays or risks to project commencement
  • Accounts receivable processes, including allocating customer payments, invoicing progress claims, and following up outstanding balances as well as other ad hoc duties
  • Maintain clear communication with customers to ensure they understand financial obligations throughout the building journey

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently discuss financial matters with customers
  • Understanding of residential construction loans and progress payment processes
  • Experience working with lenders, mortgage brokers, or finance processes in a related industry
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks
  • Customer-focused with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Accounts Receivable and/or accounting software experience would be highly regarded
