We are seeking an experienced Finance IT Project Manager to lead and deliver technology projects supporting the Finance function. Working closely with the CFO organisation and key finance stakeholders, you will manage end-to-end project delivery across finance systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and financial control standards. The successful candidate will combine strong project management expertise with a solid understanding of finance processes and finance technology landscapes.
Job Responsibility
Lead the end-to-end delivery of finance technology projects, including system implementations, upgrades, migrations, and process improvement initiatives
Partner closely with Finance stakeholders, including Controllers, FP&A, Treasury, and Tax teams, to define requirements and ensure successful business outcomes
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, system integrators, and third-party partners
Ensure solutions support key finance processes including: Financial Close
Consolidation and Reporting
Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Record-to-Report (R2R)
Challenge and refine business requirements through a strong understanding of finance operations and accounting principles
Drive project governance, status reporting, stakeholder communication, and executive-level updates
Support testing, change management, training, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilisation activities
Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and governance standards expected within a listed company environment
Deliver projects across multi-country and multi-currency business environments

Proven track record delivering finance systems projects end-to-end, including: New implementations
System upgrades
Migrations
Finance process transformation initiatives
Experience working directly with Finance functions, including Controllers, FP&A, Treasury, and/or Tax teams
Strong understanding of core finance processes: Financial Close
Consolidation
Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
Order-to-Cash (O2C)
Record-to-Report (R2R)
Experience managing complex projects involving multiple countries, currencies, and stakeholder groups
Knowledge of financial controls and governance requirements within publicly listed organisations
Strong understanding of the finance systems landscape, including: ERP Finance platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, etc.)
Financial Consolidation and Reporting solutions
Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting platforms
Financial Close and Reconciliation tools
Treasury Management Systems
Tax Technology solutions
The ability to understand, challenge, and shape finance requirements rather than acting solely as a project coordinator
