This is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the entire accounts function, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting accurate management reporting. You will oversee all aspects of dealership account processes, including banking, allocation of receipts, ledgers, credit control, purchase ledger reconciliation, and balance sheet controls. Accuracy, compliance with Group policy, and high ethical standards are essential.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, Support, and Develop the Finance Hub Team: Provide guidance to the admin supervisor, accounts assistants, and colleagues within the Hub
Data Management and Knowledge Sharing: Accurately input and manage data in Kerridge/Drive systems while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company systems and initiatives
Drive Efficiency: Restructure and optimise processes to create efficiencies across the Finance Hub while being able to provide reliable information to management and confidently answer queries
Control Departmental Expenditure: Work closely with Accountants and the General Manager to monitor costs while maintaining quality and customer service
Requirements:
Proven experience managing a finance team
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and make timely decisions
Confidence in financial and numerical analysis
Ability to lead and inspire others, setting clear objectives and maintaining focus on goals
