Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Property Accountant to take ownership of the books for a cluster of properties within the portfolio. You will be the go-to finance person for your assigned assets, working closely with property managers and external stakeholders to keep the numbers tight and reporting on track. This is a replacement hire with an urgent start, so candidates who can hit the ground running will have an advantage.

Job Responsibility:

  • Own the end-to-end accounting cycle for your assigned properties, from day-to-day transactions to month-end close
  • Drive the financial reporting calendar, delivering timely monthly and quarterly packages to stakeholders
  • Take charge of payables and receivables, ensuring vendors are paid on time and tenants are billed accurately
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents during year-end audits and GST filings
  • Work hand-in-hand with property managers to translate numbers into actionable insights
  • Spot opportunities to streamline processes and improve how the team operates

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Around 3 years of solid accounting experience, ideally with exposure to property, real estate, or asset management
  • Someone who can manage a full set of accounts independently without hand-holding
  • Comfortable with Singapore GST, statutory audits, and property tax matters
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to juggle competing deadlines
  • Strong communicator who can work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Happy to be in the office full-time (5 days a week)
  • Available immediately or within short notice
