Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance Executive to independently manage all financial operations of our pre-opening luxury boutique hotel in the heart of Hiriketiya, Dikwella, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial control across all departments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle all finance-related operations of the boutique hotel independently
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and supplier payments
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and daily revenue reports
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow and petty cash
  • Oversee income audits, night audit reports, and revenue verification
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, taxes, and company policies
  • Coordinate with auditors and support internal/external audits
  • Work closely with operations (Front Office, F&B) to ensure financial accuracy

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Part qualification in CA / ACCA / CIMA is an added advantage
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry (mandatory)
  • Pre-opening hotel experience is added advantage
  • Strong knowledge of hotel finance operations (income audit, POS systems, etc.)
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/hotel management systems
  • Ability to work independently and handle end-to-end finance functions
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Part qualification in CA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Pre-opening hotel experience
