You will lead a department of 20+ professionals, driving business decisions through data-driven insights while ensuring fiscal discipline and operational excellence during a high-growth phase.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and the Board, overseeing the entire financial landscape of a premier 250-bed hospital.
Lead a department of 20+ professionals, driving business decisions through data-driven insights while ensuring fiscal discipline and operational excellence during a high-growth phase.
Act as a core member of the senior leadership team, providing financial modeling and feasibility studies for the 100-bed facility expansion.
Partner with the CEO to drive revenue growth, optimize cost structures, and evaluate investment opportunities in medical technology.
Evaluate and manage the hospital's capital structure, including debt and equity financing for facility upgrades.
Lead a high-performing finance team of 20+, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Oversee the full spectrum of hospital billing, clinical costing, and pharmacy inventory management.
Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecasts, challenging department heads on variances to ensure alignment with clinical goals.
Ensure all reporting is compliant with MFRS, IFRS, and local healthcare regulations.
Act as the primary liaison for external auditors and tax authorities, ensuring efficient tax planning and risk mitigation.
Drive digital transformation within finance, including ERP enhancements and automated reporting tools.
Requirements:
Professional Credentials: Must be a fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACCA, CPA, MIA, or CIMA).
Experience: Minimum 15+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the Healthcare or Hospital industry.
Core Competencies: Strong business acumen with a proven track record of helping drive business decisions.
Experience managing large teams (20+ headcounts).
Significant experience in managing large-scale CAPEX or facility expansion projects.
Big 4 Foundation: Prior experience in a Big 4 audit firm is highly desirable for technical depth.
Attributes: Strategic thinker with hands-on operational capability and excellent communication skills for Board-level presentations
