Job Responsibility:
Plan, direct, coordinate, and supervise the activities of the Finance Department including Accounting, Budget, Procurement, Utilities, and Community Facilities District (CFD) Administration
Serve as Treasurer of the City and the CFD's
Oversee budget preparation and facilitate the Executive Budget Committee and the Audit Committee
Analyze and monitor the City's financial condition
Develop and maintain effective communication between Finance Department and all City departments
Provide an environment that motivates, coaches, and mentors employees
Requirements:
Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in business administration, management information systems, accounting or finance, or a related field
Five years of increasingly responsible experience working in finance management, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility
