Job Description:

The town of Wenham is seeking an experienced, thoughtful finance leader to join our leadership team in a fun, collaborative, and positive work environment. This senior role oversees all financial management operations for the town, including accounting, payroll, benefits, treasury and collection functions, and select human resources responsibilities, while working closely with departments such as Pension and Assessing. The position combines hands-on technical work with leadership, supervision, and strategic oversight, including managing town funds, investments, borrowing, tax collection, and financial systems. You will also staff the Finance and Advisory Board and play a key role in supporting sound, transparent financial decision-making across the organization. Wenham places a high value on climate action, open space, and sustainability, and is seeking a finance leader who can help advance these priorities through responsible fiscal stewardship.
